The intent of WisconsinAct 90 is to protect dogs and the people who buy or adopt them. It requires dog breeders and others involved in dog sales to be licensed and inspected. It also requires that dogs be examined by a veterinarian before they are sold or adopted. Be aware that not all states have a similar law and required inspections.
